One way to think about this shoot is that I am creating stock images of people looking at and photographing other people. The actual photographs will be quite simple, but the combinations will be slightly complicated (A looks at B, B looks at A, A looks at B looking at C etc.).

Here are some famous examples of stock images of people looking at other people! The shoot won’t have this sort of vibe but it’s some kind of vague reference.

And this photo I took of strangers is probably what it will begin looking like. I think each photo will look like a casual photo but as a series they will be clearly constructed as they will be from the same angle and in similar positions. There will be time to try closer images too.
